Lothaire Bluteau is a famous Canadian actor, born on April 14, 1957. The 65-year-old man has been active in the industry for over 4 decades. He is an actor and writer, known for Vikings (2013), Black Robe (1991), and Jesus of Montreal (1989). He has also appeared in Black Robe and Robert Lepage’s Le Confessionnal, and his international credits include Orlando (1992) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996)

Bluteau won the 1990 Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for his work on Jesus of Montreal and was nominated for the same award in 1996 for his work in the film The Confessional (Le Confessionnal).

He was nominated for the AFI Award for Best Actor for his work on Black Robe. He also won the award for Best Actor at the 1997 Gijón International Film Festival for his work on Bent.
