Larry Borom, an offensive tackle with the Chicago Bears in the National Football League, was born on March 30, 1999. He played collegiate football for Missouri prior to being selected by the Bears in the fifth round of the 2021 National Football League Draft. Borom went to Birmingham Brother Rice and was chosen for Detroit North’s first team in 2016.
Borom, a redshirt freshman, participated in all 13 games of the 2018 campaign while serving as a backup right tackle and seeing time on special teams. Borom started 11 games as the starting right guard for the 2019 season before switching to right tackle for the second half. Borom started every game at right tackle for the whole of the 2020 season.
He was included on Phil Steele’s and Pro Football Focus’ third-team SEC roster. Soon after the season, Borom declared that he will skip his senior year and enter the National Football League Draft instead.
