Kingsley Osagie “JJ” Enagbare (born January 18, 2000) is an American football outside linebacker for the National Football League’s Green Bay Packers (NFL). He attended South Carolina University and played football there.
Where did Kingsley Enagbare go to high school?
Enagbare attended Hapeville Charter Academy while growing up in the Atlanta, Georgia, suburbs. As a senior, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution named him the Class AA Defensive Player of the Year. Just before the start of his senior year, Enagbare made the decision to play college football for South Carolina.
Early enrollee Enagbare was switched from defensive end to defensive tackle during the spring practices. He participated in 12 contests and recorded 20 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one sack in his rookie campaign. As a sophomore, he switched back to defensive end and made 27 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. Enagbare was named first-team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) by the league’s coaches and was named to the second team by the Associated Press as a junior with 30 tackles, seven tackles for loss, six sacks, and three forced fumbles.
The Green Bay Packers selected Enagbare in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft (179th overall). He signed his rookie contract on May 6, 2022. In Week 6 against the New York Jets on October 16, 2022, he recorded his first career sack on Zach Wilson.
