Keenan Alexander Allen (born April 27, 1992) is an American football wide receiver for the National Football League’s Los Angeles Chargers (NFL). He attended California University before leaving after his junior year. The Chargers selected him in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Allen received multiple rookie honors after setting Chargers rookie records for receptions and receiving yards. He was named NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2017.

Allen attended Grimsley Senior High School before transferring to Northern Guilford High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he participated in football, basketball, and track. He stood out on both sides of the football field for the Nighthawks. He was a high school All-American in 2009, as selected by USA Today and Parade. He also participated in the US Army All-American Bowl, returning one punt for 33 yards and one kickoff for 33 yards.
Allen was a state qualifier in the long jump in track and field (a top leap of 7.01 meters). He competed in sprints as a senior. At the 2010 PTFCA State Meet, he finished 24th in the 400-meter dash in 51.60 seconds. He also ran the 100-meter dash, finishing with a personal-best time of 11.2 seconds. He was also timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.56 seconds.
