American football running back Justin Joseph Jackson, who plays for the Detroit Lions in the National Football League, was born on April 22, 1996. In college, he played football at Northwestern.

On April 22, 1996, Jackson was born in Carol Stream, Illinois, to the late Phil Jackson Sr. and Denise Jackson. The youngest of three siblings, Jackson. After gaining 1,418 yards and five touchdowns on 312 carries (third in the FBS) and 21 receptions for 162 yards as a receiver in 2015, Jackson was selected for the second-team All-Big Ten.
