Joshua Reynolds, a wide receiver with the Detroit Lions of the National Football League, was born on February 16, 1995.

He set the school record for receiving touchdowns in a season with 13 in 2014 while playing collegiate football at Texas A&M. Reynolds was selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams.

Reynolds played wide receiver and safety for the John Jay High School Mustangs high school football team. As a senior, he had 48 tackles with three interceptions, 44 catches for 667 yards, and 48 tackles. Reynolds had 102 receptions for 1859 yards and 22 touchdowns before he graduated from high school.

After graduating from high school, Reynolds was rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports.com and Rivals.com. He received interest from a number of NCAA Division I programs, including Oregon State.

After Reynolds visited the Oregon State campus, the Beavers let him know that all of the wide receiver roster spots for the team’s recruiting class had already been taken. Later, Reynolds pledged to attend Tyler Junior College.
