Joshua Keith Palmer (born September 22, 1999) is a Canadian-born American football wide receiver for the National Football League’s Los Angeles Chargers (NFL). He attended Tennessee and was drafted by the Chargers in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Where did Josh Palmer go to high school?
Palmer was born in Brampton, Ontario, to Keith and Alethia Palmer. Lanisha and Keiana are his two sisters. He started out at St. Roch Catholic Secondary School, where he played basketball and track in addition to football. In tenth grade, he was named St. Roch’s junior athlete of the year. In ninth and tenth grade, he played wide receiver and defensive back, helping St. Roch win two JV football titles.
Palmer also played for the Ontario Football Conference’s Burlington Stampeders and the Brampton Bulldogs. Palmer transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for his final two years of high school after attending summer football camps in the United States and receiving interest from several Division I football programs. Palmer was a three-star recruit who committed to play college football at Syracuse the summer before his senior year. He finished his senior year with 32 receptions for 506 yards and eight touchdowns, earning him second-team Class 7A All-State honors. Palmer de-committed from Syracuse and signed with Tennessee.
