Jeremy Strong is an American actor who is best known for his role as Kendall Roy in the HBO television series Succession.
For this role, he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2020 and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama in 2022.

After high school, Strong applied to colleges with an enviable letter of recommendation from DreamWorks. He later got accepted into Yale University and was granted a scholarship, intending to study drama.
He later switched his major to English after his first day in class. He found his professor’s discussions of Konstantin Stanislavski alienating.
At Yale, he continued to act in plays produced through the student-run Yale Dramatic Association. In addition to Yale, he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago.
