Jaycee Carrington Horn, a cornerback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League, was created on November 26, 1999. In the 2021 National Football League Draft, the Panthers selected him with the eighth overall pick after witnessing him play college football for South Carolina. In the 1990s and 2000s, Joe Horn, his father, was a wide receiver for the National Football League.
During his first season at South Carolina, Horn started 10 of the team’s 11 games, recorded 45 tackles and two sacks, and was selected as a rookie All-SEC performer. In the 12 games he participated in as a sophomore in 2019, he made a total of 40 tackles and one sack. In 2020, Horn started playing again for South Carolina.
Following the dismissal of previous head coach Will Muschamp on November 16, 2020, Horn made the choice to forego the remainder of the season and instead concentrate on getting ready for the 2021 National Football League Draft.

The Georgian city of Alpharetta is where Horn attended high school. He had 44 tackles and five interceptions as a senior. He participated in the U.S. American Army Bowl. He first chose the University of Tennessee to play college football, but later switched to the University of South Carolina.
