On November 26, 1999, Jaycee Carrington Horn, a cornerback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League, was born.

He played college football at South Carolina, and the Panthers selected him in the eighth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. His father Joe Horn played wide receiver for the National Football League in the 1990s and 2000s.

The Carolina Panthers selected Horn as the eighth overall choice in the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year, $21.1 million rookie deal on June 15, 2021.

When they defeated the Houston Texans 24-9, Horn intercepted Jameis Winston in the victory over the New Orleans Saints (26-7 victory).

Horn started 10 of the team’s 11 games during his debut year at South Carolina, amassed 45 tackles, and two sacks, and was chosen as a rookie All-SEC performance. He made a total of 40 tackles and one sack in his 12 games played as a sophomore in 2019. Horn resumed playing for South Carolina in 2020.

Horn made the decision to forgo the rest of the season after former head coach Will Muschamp was fired on November 16, 2020, and instead focused on preparing for the 2021 NFL Draft.
