Where did Jay Leno go to high school and college?

He graduated from Emerson College with a bachelor’s in speech therapy after he had obtained his high school education at Andover High School.

From 1986 through 1992, Leno served as Johnny Carson’s regular stand-in host of The Tonight Show. David Letterman, who had been presenting Late Night since 1982, was replaced as host by him in 1992 amid some controversy.

The Tonight Show host extended his contract with NBC in 2004 to keep him in that position through 2009. Conan O’Brien took over as host of the program from Leno in the same year.

In 2005, Leno testified on behalf of Michael Jackson’s defense during his trial on charges of child molestation. He claimed in his testimony that there were no requests for payment and no indications of coaching.
