Where did Javier Bardem go to high school?

Concerning his education, all we have uncovered is that the Spanish actor educated himself at the School of Arts and Crafts, Madrid, Spain when he was coming up as a budding actor.

Bardem made his cinematic debut after graduating from the arts and crafts college at the age of 21 in The Ages of Lulu, with his mother Pilar Bardem.

In the international hit film Jamón Jamón, he played a would-be underwear model and bullfighter. Bardem appeared in Sancho Gracia’s Huidos and in Bigas Luna’s upcoming film Golden Balls.

He had to turn down a major role offered to him by Hollywood great John Malkovich due to his inability to speak fluent English in 1997. He had to take marathon English lessons in order to accept roles that were literally waiting for him in Hollywood.

His efforts paid off because that same year, he landed his first English-language part in filmmaker Lex de la Iglesia’s Perdita Durango, playing a santera-practicing bank robber.
