Jamie McShane, an American actor, is best known for his roles as Agent Jackson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films The Avengers and Thor as well as his work on Sons of Anarchy, Southland, and Bloodline (2011).

In 2021, he appeared on the CSI: Vegas crime drama. Beginning in May 2022, he will play Det. Lankford in the Netflix series The Lincoln Lawyer.

McShane has had a long and successful acting career. He has made numerous guest appearances and regular appearances on well-known television programs like 24, House, Stalker, Fear the Walking Dead, and The Fosters.

His most well-known characters are Cameron Hayes in Sons of Anarchy, Sergeant Terry Hill in Southland, and Eric O’Bannon in Bloodline. McShane will also play a recurring role in CSI: Vegas.

McShane was the director of the films Gone Girl and Argo.

In recognition of his portrayal of Eric O’Bannon in the television series Bloodline, McShane was given the Maltese Falcon award in October 2016. Stephen Bogart, a representative of the Key Largo Humphrey Bogart Film Festival, accepted the award on behalf of his father.

Along with his four siblings, Jamie McShane was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. According to sources, McShane attended a local high school.  At the University of Richmond, McShane earned his BA in English in 1988.
