Montae Reagor, a former NFL defensive end, and Ishia Johnson welcomed Reagor into the world on January 2, 1999. He was raised in Waxahachie, Texas, and went to Waxahachie High School, where he distinguished himself for the Indians in football and track & field.
Reagor was chosen to compete in the 2017 Under Armour All-America Game after producing back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons for Waxahachie head coach and former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna on the football field. Reagor began his studies at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, in the summer of 2017. In the Horned Frogs’ 63-0 victory over Jackson State in the season opener, Reagor made his collegiate debut.
Two weeks later, in a victory over SMU, he snagged a Hail Mary throw from quarterback Kenny Hill on the final play of the first half. This was his first collegiate touchdown.
He recorded touchdowns in each of the season’s final four contests, which included TCU’s first-ever participation in the Big 12 Championship Game and a victory over Stanford in the 2017 Alamo Bowl
He earned the title of Co-Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year as a result of his efforts. Reagor changed to a jersey before the start of his sophomore season.
