Jacqueline Laura Hoffman is an American actress, singer, and comedian who was born on November 29, 1960, in Queens, New York City. She is best known for her one-woman shows of original songs and monologues with a Jewish theme. She has been with Chicago’s renowned The Second City comedy improv group for a long time.

For her performance as Mamacita in the 2017 miniseries Feud, Hoffman was up for two awards: a Critics’ Choice Television Award and a Primetime Emmy Award.

During her eight years with the Second City troupe, Hoffman was honored with Chicago’s prestigious Joseph Jefferson Award.
