During second grade, she started playing golf and softball. She was a pitcher and a converted left-handed hitter when playing softball. At the 2010 Okayama Prefecture Junior Golf Championship, she finished third.
She attended the Jōtō junior high school, where she joined the school’s baseball club as the only female player. She later decided to keep her focus on golf following her win at the 2011 Okayama Prefecture Junior Golf Championship.
Her golf journey continued in 2014 when she enrolled at Sakuyō High School. In the same year, she won the Chūgoku Region Women’s Amateur Championship.
The following year, in 2015, she won the team competition in the National High School Golf Championship as a member of the school team.
