Where did Henry Winkler go to college and high school? Did Henry Winkler go to film school?

Winkler enrolled in P.S. 87 on West 78th Street and the McBurney School in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. He was “outgoing” and “the class clown” in school, but his scholastic struggles also caused him to have “continual anxiety.”

His parents were always irritated by his failing scores, dubbed him a “dumb dog,” and repeatedly punished him for not doing well in school. They “would not tolerate poor marks,” as they put it. Winkler claimed that because of his “practically nonexistent self-image,” this situation was “excruciating.”
