Skarino Gerald Rashard Everett, a tight end for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League, was born on June 25, 1994. (NFL). In the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams selected him out of South Alabama, where he played college football.

Gerald Everett and Alicia Wise welcomed Everett into the world in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Decatur, Georgia’s Columbia High School. He participated in three high school basketball seasons for the Eagles, but he did not participate in football until his senior year.

In 2012, 2013, and 2014, Everett attended Hutchinson Community College and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), respectively. He transferred to the University of South Alabama in 2015 and played for coach Joey Jones’s South Alabama Jaguars football team from 2015 to 2016 after the UAB football program was shut down. He recorded 41 receptions for 575 yards and eight touchdowns during his two years at South Alabama, earning first-team All-Sun Belt recognition as a junior, and 49 receptions for 717 yards and four touchdowns as a senior. Everett was granted entry to the Senior Bowl.
