Feleipe Franks, a quarterback and tight end with the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons, was born on December 22, 1997. (NFL). Jordan, Jordan’s older brother, plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

He started his college football career in Florida for the first two years before transferring to Arkansas for his senior year. In 2021, Franks signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent. Franks attended Crawfordville, Florida’s Wakulla High School.

He completed passes for 6,867 yards and 81 touchdowns during his high school career. Franks was classified as a four-star recruit by the top recruiting agencies, and according to the 247Sports Composite, he was the 54th-highest talent overall and the fifth-ranked pro-style quarterback.

 

On June 1, 2014, he pledged to play collegiate football for Louisiana State University (LSU), but on November 29, 2015, he changed his mind and committed to the University of Florida instead.

 

Franks redshirted his first year at Florida in 2016. He started the 2017 season as the starting quarterback against Michigan and Tennessee. Franks led the team in passing with 1,438 yards, nine touchdowns, and eight interceptions. The Gators finished the season with a 4–7 record, their second losing season since 1979.

 

Franks has been carted off the field with an apparent broken ankle in Florida’s season-opening win over Miami. Franks announced he would be leaving the Florida program on December 1, 2019. Franks transferred to Arkansas on January 20, 2020, and played in the Razorbacks’ season opener against Georgia.
