Cornerback Eric Jamane Stokes, who plays for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League, was born on March 1, 1999. (NFL). In the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Packers selected him from Georgia’s collegiate football program.

Stokes participated in football and track at Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia. In 2017, he pledged to play college football for Georgia University.
Stokes played in 13 of Georgia’s 14 games with three starts in 2018 after redshirting his freshman season in 2017. He finished the year with 20 tackles. He made 38 tackles and one sack as a sophomore in 2019, starting 13 of the 14 contests. In 2020, he was back as a starter, and in the season’s first game, he made his first career interception, which he later recovered for a touchdown. He had two touchdowns and four interceptions before season’s end.
Stokes was chosen by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft (29th overall). On June 2, 2021, he agreed to a $11.93 million, four-year rookie deal that included a $6.03 million signing bonus.
