DeKaylin Zecharius “DK” Metcalf is an American football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL).

DK Metcalf was born on December 14, 1997, in Oxford, Mississippi to Terrence Metcalf. His father is also a football player. He was a guard in the NFL for seven seasons during the early 2000s.
Metcalf attended the Oxford High School in Oxford, Mississippi, where he had 224 receptions for 3,302 yards and 49 touchdowns. He was regarded as a four-star prospect and was ranked as the No. 14 wide receiver prospect by Rivals.com.
After his high school career, he committed to playing college football at the University of Mississippi in 2016.
After his 2018 season and after a season-ending injury, he declared for the 2019 NFL Draft. This decision meant him forgoing the last two years of his collegiate career. In the second round with the 64th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Seattle Seahawks.
