David Harold Yost (born January 7, 1969) is a producer and actor from the United States. He is best recognized for his roles in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers, and Power Rangers Zeo as Billy Cranston.
Where did David Yost go to high school?
Yost was born in the Iowa town of Council Bluffs. He went around the country while winning numerous national gymnastics contests, including state championships in Iowa and Montana.
He graduated from Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, California, in 1987. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication and dramatic arts from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, in 1991.
Yost traveled to California in the aspirations of becoming an actor, and three months later landed the role of Billy Cranston (Blue Power Ranger) in the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
He appeared in around 200 episodes of the first four seasons of the show. He was the only cast member to appear in every episode of the original series; unlike the rest of the original cast, his character never changed colors or passed on his power coins to successors.
