David Sills V (born May 29, 1996) is an American football wide receiver for the National Football League’s New York Giants (NFL).
He gained national attention as a seventh-grade quarterback in 2010 when he verbally committed to play football at the University of Southern California. Sills de-committed from USC in 2014 and then signed a national letter of intent to play for West Virginia University.
Sills began his collegiate career as a quarterback, but as a freshman, he switched to wide receiver. Sills went to El Camino College after his rookie year with the West Virginia Mountaineers but returned to West Virginia in 2017.
He led the country in touchdown receptions that season and was named to the 2017 College Football All-America Team by Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, and CBS Sports.
He led the Big 12 Conference in touchdowns in 2018, and he has selected a first-team All-Big 12 Conference football team pick in 2018, as well as a second-team 2018 College Football All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation and the American Football Coaches Association.
