Danielle Hunter, an outside linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League, was born in Jamaica on Saturday, October 29, 1994.

Katy, Texas native Danielle Hunter, is a 6-4, 220-pound weak-side defensive end.

According to 247Sports, he is the country’s No. 249 player.

In Texas (TX), Hunter is the No. 31 recruit, and he is the No. 15 weak-side defensive end in the country.

Hunter is rated as a 4-star prospect by 247Sports with a score of 92.

 

College

Hunter got educated at Louisiana State University, where he played collegiate football.

In the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the 28-year-old was selected 88th overall.

Hunter played defensive end for the Tigers’ starting defense for two seasons at Louisiana State University from 2012 to 2014.

He started 23 consecutive games at defensive end and participated in 38 games over the course of three years.

He decided to forgo his senior year at LSU and announced his intent to enter the 2015 NFL Draft in January 2015.

He recorded 142 tackles, 21.0 tackles for loss (79 yards), 4.5 sacks, eight pass breakups, seven quarterback hurries, and two forced fumbles during his college career (including a touchdown on a 25-yard fumble return).
