Dalton Chase Schultz (born July 11, 1996) is a National Football League tight end for the Dallas Cowboys (NFL). He attended Stanford University and played football there.
Schultz attended South Jordan’s Bingham High School. He was a member of the Miners’ basketball and football teams. As a senior, he caught 31 receptions for 512 yards and nine touchdowns.
He recorded 76 receptions for 1,120 yards and 12 touchdowns in high school. In January 2014, he committed to play college football for the Stanford Cardinal.
Schultz accepted a football scholarship from Stanford University. He saw no play as a true freshman in 2014 and redshirted.
As a redshirt freshman in 2015, he played in all 14 games as Austin Hooper’s backup, catching 10 passes for 121 yards and one touchdown.

Schultz attended Bingham High School. Hooper was named the starter after declaring his plan to pursue the NFL Draft as a sophomore in 2016. He played in all 13 games, finishing fourth on the team with 23 receptions for 222 yards and one score. He was named honorable mention All-Pac-12 and helped block for running backs, Christian McCaffrey and Bryce Love.
