On May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California, Eastwood was born to parents Clinton Sr. and Ruth Eastwood. Jeanne, his only sibling, is younger. During the Great Depression, the family moved to Piedmont in the Bay Area after traversing California in search of employment.
