Rod Christopher Godwin Jr. is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He was born on February 27, 1996. (NFL). His collegiate football career was spent at Penn State, and the Buccaneers selected him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
On March 9, 2022, the Buccaneers designated Godwin as their franchise player and gave him the tag for the second season in a row. A week later, Godwin and the Buccaneers came to an agreement on a three-year contract that was for a total of $60 million, with a signing bonus of $40 million.
