Chase Claypool is a Canadian professional American football wide receiver who now plays for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. Claypool was born in 1998 on July 7th (NFL).

Claypool was the first player that the Pittsburgh Steelers chose in the upcoming NFL Draft, and they did so by selecting him in the second round with the 49th overall pick. Claypool was not selected in the 2020 Canadian Football League Draft, despite the fact that he is a Canadian citizen and was ranked as the top prospect.

Claypool received his high school education at the Abbotsford Final Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. During his senior year there, he participated in both varsity basketball and AA football, and he graduated in 2016.

Throughout his career, he broke a number of receiving records at the institution. Claypool made his decision to play college football at Notre Dame after considering offers he had received from a number of the best schools in the United States about his recruiting.
