Calvin J. “C.J.” Moore, an American football safety for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League, was born on December 15, 1995. At Ole Miss, he played collegiate football.
A. J. Moore, Moore’s identical twin brother, is currently a defensive back for the Tennessee Titans after playing defensive back for the Ole Miss football team. For the Rebels, they shared the same defensive backfield.
On May 10, 2019, Moore signed a non-drafted free-agent contract with the Detroit Lions. On September 8, 2019, he made his NFL debut against the Arizona Cardinals, playing solely on special teams and recording one tackle. In his first season, Moore participated in all 16 of the Lions’ contests and recorded seven tackles.

As a senior, Moore helped Bassfield go 15-1 and win the Class 2A state championship by making 32 tackles (four for loss) and three interceptions on defense, passing for 1,194 yards and 15 touchdowns, and running for 318 yards and 13 scores.
