Bishard “Budda” Baker, a safety with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, was born on January 10, 1996. (NFL). The Cardinals took him from Washington, where he played college football, in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
He not only played safety and running back in football, but also ran track. Baker was considered one of the top safeties in his class and a four-star prospect. He changed his college football commitment from the University of Oregon to the University of Washington before National Signing Day.

Baker took part in the NFL Combine and successfully completed all of the positional drills. He participated in Washington’s Pro Day, but all he did was lead positional drills for more than 50 scouts and NFL team representatives. Baker was projected to go in the second round by the majority of NFL draft experts and analysts. Teams were thrilled by his performance but worried that his girth may prevent him from playing in the NFL.
