Brandon Aiyuk (born March 17, 1998) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist for the National Football League’s San Francisco 49ers (NFL). He attended Sierra College and Arizona State before being picked in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
Aiyuk grew up in Reno, Nevada after being born in Rocklin, California. He graduated from Robert McQueen High School. As a senior, he was voted first-team All-Northern Nevada and honorable mention All-State after playing wide receiver, defensive back, and returning kicks for the McQueen high school football team.
Sierra College is where Aiyuk began his collegiate football career. He caught 29 receptions for 573 yards and five touchdowns as a freshman and was awarded All-Big 8 Conference.
In his sophomore season, he was awarded a Junior College All-American after posting 60 catches for 960 yards and 14 touchdowns, as well as returning 11 kickoffs for 418 yards and two touchdowns, and 14 punts for 313 yards and a score.
