American actor, writer, and comedian Bashir Salahuddin was born on July 6, 1976.

In the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, Salahuddin was born and reared. When he was a little lad, his father, who is originally from Panama, immigrated to Chicago.

After graduating from Harvard Law School, Salahuddin went back to Chicago to work as a paralegal while he saved money to move to Los Angeles. He held jobs at Warner Brothers as a waiter and a PA when he first relocated to Los Angeles in the early 2000s.

On July 31, 2019, IFC debuted Sherman’s Showcase, a comedy series that Salahuddin and Riddle also produced. She appears in Joel Soisson’s film Girl Missing. In James Patterson’s Maximum Ride, a 2016 Paramount film, Wray makes an appearance. Albedo Absolute, a short film by Vlad Marsavin, was released that year. Wray made an appearance in the Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah movie The Night Shift from 2017.
