Bryant attended Thomas County Central High School in Thomasville, Georgia. He decided to attend Clemson University to play college football.

Bryant was taken by the Detroit Lions in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft (117th overall). He was placed on injured reserve on September 2, 2019.
