Aaron James “A. J.” Klein, an American football linebacker with the Chicago Bears of the National Football League, was born on July 30, 1991. At Iowa State, he played collegiate football. In the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers selected him.
Klein was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft (148th overall). In 2013, Klein was selected as the 16th linebacker.

In the spring of 2008, Klein participated in track and field as a sprinter. He participated in the 55-meter dash during the indoor season and set a personal-best time of 7.01 seconds at the Oshkosh HS Invite. During the outdoor season, he participated in the 100-meter dash and finished with a time of 11.8 seconds in fifth place at the WIAA Regional.
