Adriel Jeremiah Green, an American football wide receiver for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals, was born on July 31, 1988. (NFL). He attended Georgia for his college football career and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals as the fourth overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. He played with them for ten seasons before joining the Arizona Cardinals.

Green made the 2012 Pro Bowl in his debut season with the Bengals, becoming the first rookie receiver to do so in eight years. He went on to make a total of seven Pro Bowl appearances in his career. In the first three seasons from 2011 to 2013, Green caught 260 more passes than any other player in NFL history; Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. later surpassed Green’s mark (288). He has six seasons with at least 1,000 yards receiving.

Green competed in football, basketball, and track as a three-sport athlete at Summerville High School in Summerville, South Carolina. He was a wide receiver for the John McKissick-coached Summerville Green Wave football team. He was ranked first among the Class of 2008’s best national football prospects and was highly regarded as such.
