Fans of the popular reality TV show Dance Moms will fondly remember the intense rivalry between the Abby Lee Dance Company and the Candy Apples Dance Center in earlier seasons.

However, with the show being off the air for years, many are left wondering what happened to the dynamic mother-daughter duo from Candy Apples.

Cathy Nesbitt-Stein, the fiery owner of the Candy Apples Dance Center located in Canton, Ohio, is still at the helm of the studio. Her daughter, Vivi-Anne Stein, who started training at the center at just 18 months old, has moved on to new ventures.

Born on September 11, 2004, Vivi is now 19 years old and is pursuing her passion as a cheerleader at Cleveland State University. The mother-daughter duo made quite an impression during their time on Dance Moms, starting from their debut in season one at the Abby Lee Dance Company.

After their departure from ALDC, Cathy and Vivi continued to compete against Abby Lee Miller’s dancers at various competitions. Their presence on the show was felt from 2011 until 2017, captivating audiences with their competitive spirit and dedication to the world of dance.

As the highly anticipated Dance Moms: The Reunion approaches, many are wondering if Cathy and Vivi will be making appearances.

Scheduled to air on May 1, 2024, on Lifetime, the reunion will feature several former cast members, including JoJo Siwa, Chloe Lukasiak, and Kendall Vertes.
