Olivia Newton-John achieved huge success on a global scale. With songs like “If Not for You” and “Let Me Be There” in 1973, Olivia achieved major success. After that, she had a huge hit with “Have You Never Been Mellow.”

When she co-starred with John Travolta in “Grease” in 1978, she received a major break. Along with the songs “You’re the One that I Want,” “Summer Nights,” and “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” she played the legendary Sandy in the film. Following the success of the film, Olivia went on to star in films like “Xanadu.” Olivia’s biggest success was “Physical” in 1981, which broke all records in the 1980s by spending 10 weeks at #1. Throughout her entire career, she remained a proponent of the environment and animal rights.

According to Olivia Easterling’s husband John Easterling, she passed away quietly on Monday morning at her ranch in Southern California, surrounded by loved ones.

A source close to Olivia told TMZ, “After a 30-year cancer journey, she lost her battle to metastatic breast cancer.” Although the cause of death was not specified, Olivia had battled breast cancer for more than 30 years.
