Gilyard reportedly began acting after completing a theatrical degree at California State University, according to UNLV. He received his first television role in 1981 on the program “Different Strokes.”

When did Clarence Gilyard play for the Dallas Cowboys?

He always wanted to be a cowboy and spend every weekend working with his horse. Team roping is where he shine. The previous time out, he had the pleasure of working with Charlie Sampson in Mesa, Arizona. He was the world champion rider in 1982. I enjoy being outside among the horses, calves, mud, and poo.
