American stand-up comedian, actor, television host and director, Bob Saget has been confirmed dead.
He has played numerous roles in television series, including Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom Full House and its Netflix sequel Fuller House.
The comedian has also hosted America’s Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997
When did Bob Saget pass away?
Bob Saget passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. He died at the age of 65.
According to TMZ, his death was confirmed by multiple sources connected to the iconic comedian and actor.
TMZ’s report said the Sheriff’s Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 PM ET after hotel security had found Bob in his room.
Bob was pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death are unknown.
Bob’s been touring the country lately, hitting a lot of destinations throughout the state of Florida, including in Orlando, which got started in September and was supposed to take him through May.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and three children; Aubrey Saget, Lara Melanie Saget, Jennifer Belle Saget.
