In the new documentary “Remember My Name,” which comes out Friday, the music great, who is still going strong and is a founding member of both the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash and is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, recalls his “checkered history” in vivid detail.
In “Remember My Name,” Crosby shares a wealth of fascinating tales, one of which is how Joni Mitchell dumped him by belting out her emotions in a brand-new song she’d composed. The two ex-lovers are now close friends even though Mitchell went on to date Graham Nash, a bandmate from CSN.
Even Mitchell’s old home, where Crosby, Stills & Nash were created and where they composed their iconic song “Our House,” in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood of Los Angeles is featured in the documentary. Crosby claims, “I spent a lot of time there.”
What were David Crosby’s health problems?
David Crosby ought should have passed away a long time ago given his drug addiction, time spent in prison, and health problems including diabetes, a few heart attacks, and a liver transplant required due to hepatitis C.
Like everyone else, he is shocked to still be alive.
