On Sunday morning at the age of 92, the late vocalist Lata Mangeshkar departed for heaven. Dr. Pratit Samdani, who was Lata Mangeshkar’s doctor at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, said that the singer died as a result of multiple organ failure. She spent more than 28 days in the hospital following COVID-19 before she passed away from multi-organ failure, according to Dr. Samdani. The Bharat Ratna recipient was hospitalized after being given a coronavirus and pneumonia diagnosis in January.
