Olaseni Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua OBE is a British professional boxer who was born on October 15, 1989, in Watford, Hertfordshire to Nigerian parents Robert and Yeta Joshua.
The Boxing Writers Association of America and The Ring magazine chose Joshua as the fighter of the Year twice in a row.
He competed for England as an amateur and won a silver medal in the super-heavyweight event at the 2011 World Championships. Additionally, he won gold when competing for Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics. Joshua is the first British boxer to win an Olympic gold medal and a professional world title.
