The Hollywood industry has lost another prominent soul, Bob Saget. The news of his passing came on Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was 65.
In a press statement released following his death, Bob’s said family they were devastated by the news.
“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the statement noted. “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”
It added: “Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
What time did Bob Saget die?
He was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday afternoon following a performance in Ponte Vedra on Saturday night.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Bob Saget died after 4 p.m. local time on Sunday.
Florida officials revealed the time of Bob Saget’s death via Twitter: “Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”
However, the cause of Bob’s death wasn’t shared along with the statement.
