American movie icon, philanthropist and avid animal welfare activist, Betty White has passed away. She joined her ancestors Friday, December 31, 2021, just 17 days to mark her 100th birthday.
Her agent Jeff Witjas confirmed her death to PEOPLE magazine in a statement Friday.
“Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever,” Jeff Witjas stated.
“I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world that she loved so much. I don’t think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again,” Jeff added.
What time did Betty White pass away?
Betty White’s passing was first reported by TMZ, who said she passed away at her home just before 9:30 a.m Friday.
Fox 11 also reported that officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were called to White’s home located near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Bundy Drive in Brentwood around 9:30 a.m.
This means Betty White passed away just a few minutes to 9:30 a.m on Friday, December 31, 2021.
