Former professional footballer and English football manager Tony Alexander Adams MBE. Adams captained both England and Arsenal while playing for them. Adams played center-back at Arsenal for the duration of his 19-year playing career. He won four top-flight division titles with Arsenal, three FA Cups, two Football League Cups, a UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, and two FA Community Shields.
He was also the only captain to lead a title-winning squad in three separate decades. On December 9, 2011, Thierry Henry, Herbert Chapman, and a statue honoring Adams were unveiled at the Emirates Stadium. Between 1987 and 2000, he earned 66 England caps and participated in four international competitions.

Adams was appointed as the La Liga team’s manager in April 2017, but Granada’s six-year spell in the top flight came to an end when they were demoted from the league, and Adams lost each of his seven games in command.
