Didier Claude Deschamps is a French professional football manager and former player who has been manager of the France national team since 2012.

Deschamps began his managerial career with Monaco, where he helped the club win the Coupe de la Ligue in 2003 and reach the 2004 UEFA Champions League Final, earning him the title of Ligue 1 Manager of the Year in 2004.
During the 2006-07 season, Deschamps helped his former club Juventus win the Serie B title and return to Serie A after being relegated the previous season due to their involvement in the 2006 Calciopoli Scandal.
