Salma Valgarma Hayek Jiménez, born on September 2, 1966, is a Mexican and American actress and producer.
She made her acting debut in Mexico with leading parts in the telenovela Teresa (1989–1991) and the love story El Callejón de los Milagros (1995), for which she was nominated for an Ariel Award.
