Michael Gordon, sometimes known as Mick Gordon in the entertainment industry, is an Australian composer, record producer, musician, and sound designer.
He’s composed music for first-person shooters such as LawBreakers, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Prey. Gordon also worked on the first and second seasons of Killer Instinct, a 2013 fighting game.
Gordon began his musical career as a jazz/blues guitarist in his teens before transitioning into the game industry. When it comes to producing music for shooter games and films, his work is rather distinctive.
In 2016, Gordon completed the score for Doom, a science fiction first-person shooter sequel to the 1993 game developed by id Software.
