Kevin Wayne Durant, a professional basketball player who was born on September 29, 1988, is known by the initials KD and plays for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Prior to being selected by the Seattle SuperSonics as the second overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, KD played one season of collegiate basketball for Texas. Before the team’s name was changed to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2008, he spent nine seasons with it. Later, in 2016, he teamed up with the Golden State Warriors.
