Geraldo Rivera Rodriguez who hails from Puerto Rico, though he was reared in Levittown, which is close to Toa Baja on the beautiful island’s central northern shore, was born on July 31, 1973.
The siblings Saned, Edwin, Ito, and José all work in the salsa genre (one of his brothers was with Puerto Rican Power). His parents, who are also artists, supported him in his decision to make music his career. He frequently attended his parents at their performances as a small child, guitarist father Edwin and vocalist mother Dominga.
Some of his favourite vocalists include Lalo Rodriguez, Frankie Ruiz, and Eddie Santiago. When he was 13 years old in 1986, he attended one of his performances at a hotel in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. The hotel’s visitor Ruiz appeared, joined them for a few songs and posed with Rivera for pictures.
